    Basic Allowance For Housing (BAH)
     gives active service members two options for housing; living on base or finding a home off-base within the community.

    • Once you have orders to move, contact The Housing Management Office (801) 777-1840, which can provide services such as: counseling and guidance before entering into a lease agreement, housing referrals, and resolving tenant-landlord disputes.

    Hill AFB On Base Housing   

    • On-base housing for Hill AFB is privatized and operated by Boyer Military Housing (801) 679-4514, which offers 2-4 bedroom apartments that feature dishwashers, fenced backyards and garages. The community amenities includes: Fitness center, equestrian club, fitness center, pocket parks, splash parks and skateboard parks.

    Hill AFB is centrally located to many nearby communities; the average commute nearby is about 21 minutes, but the closest communities should be about 15 minutes. Ogden is a mid-sized city in northern Utah, with lots of suburbs, 83,000 people in the city and about 228,000 people in the larger metro area. There are several other nearby small communities, including Clearfield, Layton, Roy, South Ogden, Clinton, Riverdale, Washington Terrace, and West Haven. Ogden is also only 40 miles north of Salt Lake City, a city of over 190,000 in a metropolis of 2.4 million. The cities near Hill AFB are: Kaysville, Layton, Syracuse, West Point, Clearfield, Roy, Clinton, So.     About Hill AFB
    Hill Air Force Base is home to the 75th Air Base Wing under the command of the Air Force Materiel Command, and the Ogden Air Logistics Complex. Hill AFB is located in northern Utah and is home to the logistics complex, which manages air force aircraft, engines, missiles, and software worldwide. The center also provides engineering management for the F-16 Fighting Falcon, the A-10 Thunderbolt II, and the Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile.
